What You Should Bring to Buy or Lease a Car
For a smooth checkout process and to save time, we will need the following documentation to finalize your finance or lease application:
- Driver's License
- Proof of Insurance (You will need a valid insurance policy active on the new vehicle before you can drive away)
- Proof of Income
- Acceptable Method of Payment: cashier's check or credit card if needed for a down payment or other fees
- Trade-In Information and Documentation: Title or payoff information, registration, and all sets of keys
- Social Security Number
- Co-Applicant Information and Documentation
- For Business Purchases or Leases:
- Proof of address (i.e. utility bill)
- Letter of authorization on company letterhead
- Auto insurance under the business's name
- Tax ID/EIN Number
If you are an out-of-state buyer, that is no problem. Sales taxes are paid in the state where the vehicle is registered. Be sure to bring all the above documentation for all parties on the loan or lease. All parties must be present to sign.
